My Story

Creativity in Childhood

I was raised in a charming suburban town called Issaquah, located in Washington state. Family bonding time consisted of sharing meals and performing musical acts. During this time, I found my love and passion for music and joined the choir, orchestra, and band. Singing and playing music has always been a great way to express myself and enjoy the beauty of sound.

Alongside my passion for music, I wrote lyrics and short fantasy stories. With storytelling being another passion of mine, and a fun way for me to express my thoughts and feelings.

Creativity Transformed in Adulthood

In adulthood, I continue to explore new hobbies and culture. Involving activities such as photography, body surfing, roller skating, and bowling. As well as enjoying the culture behind fashion design and movies.

In 2015, my husband and I moved to beautiful San Diego following his father falling ill. While we originally came down to take care of him during that time, we decided to make it our home and made the move permanent.

Soon after, I decided to utilize my skills and passions in writing and self-expression to pursue a career in marketing. A journey that began to flourish once I transferred to San Diego State University’s Marketing Program. With my enthusiasm for business and marketing, I have begun to see great value in helping others expand recognition for their business and foster their success. Through my growing creativity and skills, I aim to create campaigns that increase business, boost commerce, and make a difference.

Goals: The Next Destination

At present, I continue to learn and increase my knowledge in content marketing (including SEO and SEM), event marketing, and marketing operations. With the goal of becoming a reliable leader as a Marketing Specialist/Manager.

My long-term focus is to become a Marketing Director that is efficient and effective. Overseeing the entire marketing process from start to finish, while making responsible decisions to develop an even better final product than intended. With years of experience and expertise under my belt, I then plan to start my own marketing consultancy agency.
